Transcend Launches as a Snowflake Native App on Snowflake Marketplace
Transcend today announced it has launched Transcend Consent & Preferences Management on Snowflake Marketplace. The Snowflake Native App brings Transcend’s consent and preference data directly into a customer’s own Snowflake account, turning it into policy the moment it lands. Most of a company’s customer data already lives in Snowflake. Now it can be put to use faster, and with more confidence.
“Every customer we talk to has the same problem: their audience is bigger than the one they’re actually allowed to use. This app answers the question ‘Can I use this data?’ right where the data already lives, inside Snowflake, so teams don’t have to wait on a custom pipeline to start using first-party data for personalization, analytics, and AI.” — Ben Brook, CEO, Transcend
Transcend, leveraging Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, built this native app to answer a question access controls alone can’t: not just who can see the data, but what it’s allowed to be used for. Together, Snowflake and Transcend give teams across Marketing, Privacy, InfoSec, and Data one confident answer instead of multiple systems to reconcile.

Data and platform teams no longer have to choose between moving data and keeping it governed. The Native App applies governance right where the data already lives, without a separate compliance pipeline to build or maintain.
“Transcend’s Snowflake Native App brings policy enforcement and data permissions into a single flow inside the customer’s own Snowflake account, turning consent and preference data into row access policies and safe views, enforced at query time, at warehouse scale. It’s a strong example of how our ecosystem gives customers confidence to activate data for AI and personalization.” — Rodrigo Rocha, Vice President, Global ISV & Enterprise Technology Partnerships at Snowflake
The question isn’t what data a company has. It’s whether they can use it. Without opening a SQL editor or filing a ticket, data stewards and business users get a live coverage view: exactly which datasets are governed and which aren’t, with a one-click fix for every gap. Transcend’s data permissions flow into Snowflake, then Snowflake’s own governance capabilities and compute enforce them everywhere that data gets queried. As a Snowflake Native App, customers can install and run the application directly in their Snowflake account, accelerating time to value and reducing silos. TextNow is already seeing that speed firsthand.

“Using the Snowflake Native App and Transcend transforms a task that normally takes weeks into hours.” — Andrew Cotton, Head of Platform and Security Engineering, TextNow
That kind of speed isn’t limited to this launch. It follows Transcend’s recent release of Policy Engine, the company’s broader runtime data decision infrastructure.
