Momentus Technologies Launches MomentusMAX, an AI Platform Built for Venues, and Brings MAX for Sales to General Availability

Momentus Technologies, the global leader in venue and event management, powering more than 4,000 venues worldwide, today announced the general availability of MAX for Sales, an AI-native CRM supporting revenue orchestration and automation. This release marks the launch of MomentusMAX, the new platform that will house a growing suite of AI products, with MAX for Sales as its latest offering.

Venue sales teams spend up to 70 percent of their week on administrative work rather than selling; triaging leads by hand, checking calendars across multiple spaces, and building proposals from scratch for every inquiry. The cost of that overhead compounds quickly, with up to 50 percent of RFPs going to the first venue to respond and nearly half of all available venue days go unbooked industry-wide.

MAX for Sales works alongside a venue’s existing sales team inside the Momentus platform to optimize these tasks, built around three core engines:

  • Lead Engine – automatically captures, deduplicates, and scores every inbound inquiry, so reps see the highest-value opportunities first instead of the loudest ones.
  • Calendar Engine – resolves booking conflicts and recommends the highest-value hold using real revenue data, not gut instinct.
  • Revenue Engine – builds complete proposals with upsells and projected margin included, not just the room.

From inquiry to proposal, MAX for Sales does the administrative work so sales teams can focus on making the final decision on every recommendation.

“Generic AI doesn’t know your venue, your spaces, or your clients. That gap is exactly why it hasn’t delivered real value in day-to-day sales work for events,” said Alex Griffis, Chief Product Officer, Momentus Technologies. “We built MAX for Sales as a context layer on top of a venue’s own data, so it actually understands their business, not just business in general.”

MomentusMAX will expand over the next year with MAX for Events, focused on planning and day-of operational execution, and MAX for Finance, focused on revenue recognition, cost optimization, and forecasting, extending the same purpose-built approach across the full venue lifecycle, from lead to invoice.

“When AI first came out, everyone was very cautious of it, but I view technology as a way to help me do my job, not take my job. It’s exciting because Momentus is looking at what event management clients like us need and building tools like MAX for Sales that allow us to do our jobs in a more efficient and better way.” said Gary Firlit, Director of Business Analytics, Floreano Convention Center.
