Lionsgate Adopts Orange Logic DAM To Unify Global Marketing
🕧 6 min

As global media companies manage growing volumes of creative content across multiple platforms and regions, efficient digital asset management has become a critical part of modern marketing operations. Lionsgate has chosen Orange Logic digital asset management technology to streamline how marketing teams store, manage, and distribute creative assets worldwide.

Orange Logic, a provider of enterprise digital asset management solutions, announced that Lionsgate has selected its platform as the company’s global system for managing marketing content. The initiative is designed to consolidate several legacy systems into a centralized environment that simplifies workflows and improves access to approved marketing assets.

Under the new implementation, Lionsgate will transition from multiple digital asset management platforms to a single cloud-based repository powered by Orange Logic. The system will serve as the central hub for finalized marketing materials, including trailers, promotional artwork, logos, and other creative assets used across film and television marketing campaigns.

The move reflects a broader trend in media and entertainment organizations seeking to modernize their technology stacks to support global marketing operations. By bringing its digital asset management infrastructure into its own cloud environment, Lionsgate aims to create a more consistent and efficient process for sharing approved content across internal teams and external partners.

“We were using multiple systems across marketing, which made it difficult to maintain a single source for final and approved assets,” said Jacob Robinson, Manager of Business Operations, Integration Services at Lionsgate. “Implementing Orange Logic allows us to centralize our marketing materials in our own cloud environment and establish a more consistent approach to managing and sharing assets across teams and partners.”

The new Orange Logic digital asset management platform will integrate with Lionsgate’s existing technology ecosystem. This integration is designed to reduce manual handoffs between systems, accelerate approvals, and ensure that rights management policies are consistently applied across departments and partner networks.

Through the centralized platform, internal teams and global partners will be able to access approved marketing materials from a single location. The system also supports improved metadata management, which enhances the ability to search and organize assets across different titles and content formats.

Another capability of the platform includes automated proxy and transcoding generation, which prepares marketing assets for external distribution across various channels and partner platforms. In addition, API based workflows will enable Lionsgate to connect marketing materials with other internal systems, creating a more seamless digital content pipeline.

Orange Logic and Lionsgate designed the implementation with flexibility in mind, allowing the platform to evolve as the company expands into new workflows or adopts emerging technologies. The architecture is intended to support future marketing and content production needs without requiring significant infrastructure changes.

“We see our work with Lionsgate as a collaborative, long-term partnership,” said Brian McLaughlin, CEO of Orange Logic. “Their engagement throughout the process has helped shape how the platform supports their teams today, and we’re excited to continue building with them as their team needs evolve.”

For Lionsgate, the adoption of Orange Logic digital asset management technology represents a strategic step toward modernizing global marketing operations. As media companies handle increasingly complex content pipelines, centralized digital asset management systems are becoming essential for maintaining efficiency, governance, and brand consistency across international campaigns.
