Auddia Adopts AI-First Development Model to Accelerate Product Delivery Across Its Platforms
Auddia Inc. (NASDAQ: AUUD) (“Auddia” or the “Company”), an AI-first technology company that has built a proprietary AI platform for audio identification and classification to reinvent how consumers engage with audio and how artists get discovered, today announced the adoption of an AI-first development model across the Company. The new approach materially increases development velocity while reducing the engineering resources required per feature, giving Auddia a faster and more efficient path from product roadmap to shipped release.
The AI-first development model embeds AI across every stage of the product lifecycle rather than treating it as a point-solution add-on. In practice, this means:
- AI-assisted design and product specification: Feature scoping, technical specifications, and design iteration are supported by AI tooling, compressing the front end of the development cycle.
- AI-assisted coding: Engineers work alongside AI coding tools throughout implementation, allowing a smaller team to ship more production code per sprint.
- AI-assisted testing and QA: Automated test generation and AI-driven quality assurance shorten the time from feature complete to production release.

Measured Efficiencies
Across the initial rollout of the AI-first development model for the upcoming release of the new faidr app, Auddia has measured meaningful gains against its prior development cadence utilizing an outsourced model:
- Development velocity: Approximately 4.8x faster feature delivery from spec to shipped release per engineer.
- Engineering footprint: Roughly 79% fewer engineering resources required per equivalent scope of work.
- Cycle time: Release cycles compressed from approximately 7 weeks to approximately 2.5 weeks under the new model.
The AI-first development model was applied end-to-end to the upcoming release of the new version of the Company’s flagship audio superapp, faidr. That release, which introduces a faster listening experience and new genre-based playlisting functionality, is the first proof point of what the AI-first model can deliver at production scale. Going forward, the same development approach will drive product cycles across faidr, Discovr Radio, and Auddia’s broader product portfolio. Auddia expects this to result in a 40%-50% decrease in engineering costs compared to the current outsourced solution while simultaneously increasing the pace of development.
