Ooredoo Qatar Upgrades Charging System with Ericsson Cloud
DOHA, QATAR, 29TH APRIL 2025-Ericsson and Ooredoo Qatar have announced a major milestone in their long-standing collaboration by modernizing the telecom provider’s Charging System through Ericsson’s Cloud Native Infrastructure.
The move is aimed at improving scalability, flexibility, and real-time charging capabilities for digital services across Ooredoo’s network.
The modernized solution, deployed on Ericsson’s dual-mode 5G Core, allows Ooredoo to deliver seamless user experiences while reducing operational complexity.
This enhancement is critical for enabling new digital monetization models, particularly as the demand for data-heavy services continues to grow across Qatar and the region.
